Brief:
Design for social responsibility focuses on showing solidarity and support for social, environmental, and justice issues.
Through visual communication design, we had to educate and bring a change in the society or community in the sector, "Availability of Basic Sanitation."
Aim:
Our motive was to create
and spread awareness
regarding menstruation
and menstrual hygiene
amongst girls between the
age group of 12-14 years.

The illustrations and deliverables will follow a monochromatic colour scheme.

To have the information handy, we decided to create a brochure. This contained pictorial information as well as text written in Hindi, making it easier for them to read and understand.

Learning and Impact of the Seminar:
- During the seminar we asked the girls if they knew what periods are and 80% of them were unaware of it.
- When you get you periods for the first time it can be quite daunting and confusing, by educating them about it we might help them take better care of themselves during the time.
- Our tool kit consisting of a brochure, one fun activity and a couple of badges will also help this school and others to conduct similar seminars and educate other girls in the future.
